DTF - Direct To Film (DTF Printing)

1. What type of ink use the DTF Printers?
It use DTF Inks that are specific for transfer film to be use on dark and light garment like 100% cotton, polyester, blends, spandex, flex, leather.

2. Do I need DTF White Ink to print on black and dark t-shirts?
Yes, you need to have a white base in order to make black or dark t-shirts. If you don't use a white base on your design it will look dark.

3. Do I need the DTF Transfer Film?
Yes, you need DTF Transfer Film so the DTF Inks be able to print and stay on it. DTF Transfer Film have a coated side that holds the inks. The films comes with Glossy back or Matte back and you can choose which one you want to use. Also, the technology has progress, there is Special DTF Film with coating such as Glitter, Glow in the Dark, Metallic and others.

4. Do I need the DTF Powder?
Yes, without the DTF Powder you will not be able to finish the DTF Transfer or press the design.

5. What can I use to cure the DTF Powder?
You can cure the powder 6 ways.
- Using a heat press
- Using an oven
- Using a heat gun
- Using an infrared conveyor
- Using a powder shaker machine with oven
- Using a flash dryer (like the one used on screen printing)

6. What is the max print area of the DTF Printers?
Depending on the model, each model have different print area.
- A4 printer can do up to 8" inches wide
- A3 printer can do up to 11.7" inches wide
- A3+ printer can do up to 13" inches wide
- A2 printer can do up to 17" inches wide
- A1 printer can do up to 24" inches wide

Note: More larger printers are coming out to the market.

7. Do you offer DTF tutorials?
Yes, we have many video tutorials online that you can watch step by step on how to setup and print DTF and UV DTF. Watch videos HERE

8. Do I need a heat press?
Yes, to be able to press the design on t-shirts or if you are using it to cure the DTF Powder.

9. Does the DTF Printer comes with software?
Depending on which bundle. Most of our printer bundles will include rip software (unless specify).

10. Do you offer support for DTF?
Yes, we do online support via email or chat, plus manufacturer technicians are available via chat or video call. We also have a big community group that can help with questions and tips. Videos here , Group here

11. Do you ship any where?
No, we can ship DTF Supplies to most parts of the world (International), but printers and machines only to USA physical address. NOTE: check with your country customs and post office since the covid-19 continues and some countries are not allowing packages import.

UV DTF - Ultraviolet Direct To Film (UV DTF Printing)

1. What type of ink use the UV DTF Printers?
It use UV DTF inks that are specific for UV DTF film to be use in combination with UV Varnish. Once a UV DTF Transfer is done It can be place on acrylic, metal, wood, glass, ceramic, plastic, leather, cardboard and even paper.

2. Do I need UV DTF White Ink to print UV DTF?
Yes, you need to have a white base in order to make the colors bright and any part of the design that use white to show. If you don't use a white base on your design it will look transparent or any white element will not show.

3. Do I need the UV DTF Film?
Yes, you need UV DTF Film so the UV DTF Inks be able to print and stay on it. UV DTF Film required 2 films in combination, A film + B film, this make a UV DTF Transfer. The A film (printing film) comes CLEAR or PAPER and you can choose which one you want to use.

4. Do I need the UV DTF Varnish?
Yes, without the UV DTF Varnish you will not be able to finish the UV DTF transfer and will not be waterproof and scratch resistance.

5. What can I use to cure the UV Inks?
The UV Inks will be cure at the same time the UV DTF Printer is printing. This is due to the UV light and technology that the carriage printhead has.

6. What is the max print area of the UV DTF Printers?
Depending on the model, each model have different print area.
- A4 printer can do up to 8" inches wide
- A3 printer can do up to 11.7" inches wide
- A2 printer can do up to 17" inches wide
- A1 printer can do up to 24" inches wide

No for UV DTF. UV DTF Transfers stick to any hard surface such as acrylic, metal, wood, glass, ceramic, plastic, leather, cardboard and even paper. You can stick with just rubbing your fingers or squeegee tool.

9. Does the UV DTF Printer comes with software?
Depending on which bundle. Most of our printer bundles will include rip software (unless specify).

10. Do you offer support for UV DTF?

Custom Orders (DTF Transfers or UV DTF Transfers)

1. Do you do custom orders?
Yes, you can get DTF transfers and UV DTF transfers printed with your design or logo from us or our partners HERE

Make sure the design or picture is at least 300 dpi in resolution and have a transparent background (PNG format).
If the background is not transparent will print the square of your background design or picture. You need to send the design or picture ready for print.
