Style 1: Matte (Double-Sided)
● Print Side: Single-sided (coating is only on one side)
● Peel Type: Available in Cold Peel or Hot Peel
● Thickness: 75μm (industry standard)
● Benefits: Helps reduce issues with humidity; offers a more muted/dull look before pressing
Style 2: Glossy Back (Single-Sided)
● Print Side: Coated on one side only
● Peel Type: Available in Cold Peel or Hot Peel
● Thickness: 75μm (industry standard)
● Benefits: Preferred by some for its smoother surface and how designs appear before pressing
Layer Structure (5 Layers Total):
1. Base Layer
2. Coated Layer
3. Anti-Static Layer
4. Anti-Slip Layer
5. Release Coating
Which is better?
Both perform equally great when heat pressed. Some customers prefer the glossy version for how the design looks prior to pressing, while others prefer the matte version for better handling in humid environments. However, the final result after pressing is virtually identical.
